Xavier was appointed Global Head of SRI Research on 1st March 2007,after 4 years as an SRI Financial Analyst. He joined the HSBCGroup in April 1999 and performed several marketing functions for 4years – firstly, as a Product Manager, then as Head of MarketingAnalysis and, finally, as Head of Investment Marketing. Prior toHSBC, he was affiliated for 4 years with the asset management firm,Ecureuil Gestion (part of the CDC Group), as Sales and MarketingSupport Manager. From 1993 to 1995, he was a Product Manager atCredit Agricole, and from 1991 to 1993, a Junior Consultant at IncomeInternational, focusing on financial marketing and strategicissues. He started his career at Bank Paribas where he spent 2years as a Marketing Analyst.
Xavier graduated in 1988 from the French business school, ESLSCA,specialising in finance. He has been a Certified European FinancialAnalyst (European Federation of Financial Analysts) since 2005. He is also a Co-Chair of the Asset Management Working Group (AMWG) ofthe United Nations Environment Programme Finance Initiative (UNEP FI),a member of the UNEP FI Global Steering Committee, and a member of theMEDEF Sustainable Development Committee, the main representative bodyof French employers.
