Prof. Dr. Rüdiger von Rosen is managing director of theDeutscheAktieninstitut e.V. (DAI) in Frankfurt since 1995. After beingassistant at the Institut für Kapitalmarktforschung (Institute forCapital Market Research) from 1970 until 1973, he became managementassistant of the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Wertpapiersparen. In1974 he started his career at the Deutsche Bundesbank (German CentralBank), where he became head of the President's office in 1980 and as of1984 head of the press- and information department. End of 1986 he wasappointed executive vice chairman of the Federation of the German StockExchanges. From 1990 until 1993 he was speaker of the executive boardof Frankfurter Wertpapierbörse AG (later Deutsche Börse AG).
Professor von Rosen is lecturer at the Goethe-University in Frankfurtand is author and editor of numerous books and publications inter aliaon Capital Market Policy, Equity and Social Policy, CorporateGovernance, Corporate Law. He is also honorary consul of Latvia.
