Philippe Lespinard
Director - Roundtable Corporate Governance
Philippe is the Chief Investment Officer of BNP Paribas AM, responsible for the fundamental research, quantitative research and portfolio management teams. In this role, he is responsible for €120bn in assets, covering European equities and fixed income as well as international equities and balanced portfolios.
Philippe joined BNP Paribas AM in April of 2002. Prior to that date, he held the position of head of investments for Europe at Citigroup Asset Management in London, while co-heading fixed income investments worldwide. Philippe had joined Citigroup in March of 1998 from Fischer Francis Trees & Watts in London where he was a portfolio manager and a partner from 1996. Prior to joining FFTW, Philippe was an investment officer at the World Bank in Washington, DC since 1985.
Philippe holds an MSc in applied mathematics and was admitted to the PhD programme in artificial intelligence at the University of Grenoble, France.
