Neil Dunn
Managing Director - Kempen Capital Management (UK) Ltd.
After graduating with a degree in economics Mr Dunn’s initial investment experience was gained at the Standard Life Assurance Company. This was followed by a period as the Group Economist of Christian Salvesen during which he gained a wide industrial experience covering many sectors of economic activity. In 1977 he moved to Ivory & Sime plc of which he became a director with responsibility for the company’s business in Japan and South East Asia. During this period he was instrumental in the formation of Ivory & Sime’s first overseas offices in Tokyo and Hong Kong. In 1989 Mr Dunn left Ivory & Sime to form his own company, which was to become the investment management company acquired by Kempen & Co in 1997. Following the acquisition he became the Managing Director of Kempen Capital Management (UK) Ltd.
Additionally Mr Dunn serves as a director of Martin Currie Japan Trust, Edinburgh Smaller Companies Trust, Ptarmigan International Capital Trust, Capital Opportunities Trust, Platinum Investment Trust and Intelli Partners Ltd.Neil Dunn (1949)
