Currently, Sustainable Capital’s offerings aretwo-fold. The firm provides advisory services to Clean Technologystartups and Green enterprises. Also, Secondly, Sustainable Capital isdesigning a complete suite of Green financial products. The firstand cornerstone product is a portfolio of Green residential mortgages.To compliment said mortgages, the firm is currently building avertically integrated, Green Mortgage Conduit. Thus, SustainableCapital will securitize said mortgages and present GreenMortgage-Backed Securities to global institutional investors for theirconsideration.
Mujahid has over fifteen years of finance and consultingexperience. Prior to launching Sustainable Capital, Mujahid ledthe effort to establish the Environmental Finance group at Wells Fargo& Company. As an Investment Banker on Wall Street, hestructured fixed-income instruments for Fortune 100 companies. As aVenture Capitalist in Silicon Valley, Mujahid conducted quantitativeand qualitative analysis on Technology startups (with a focus onthe Nanotechnology ventures). At a global consultancy, he developed thestrategy and structure for a West Africa-focused private equityfund. The fund’s goal was to invest the Gambian government’sfuture petroleum revenues into West African-based social ventures(infrastructure works, healthcare facilities, small to medium-sizedenterprises).
Mujahid holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Organizational Behavior andManagement from Brown University.
