Michèle Jardin is Head of “STARS”, an investment services department, which centralises all of CAAM’s Research teams, Trading and the central functions of the Investment Management Department. Michèle Jardin joined CAAM in 1999 as Head of Balanced Fund Management and Strategy, before moving on to manage the Equity Research Department and central investment management functions in 2004, following the merger of Crédit Agricole Asset Management and Crédit Lyonnais Asset Management. On 3rd September 2007, Michèle Jardin was appointed CEO of IDEAM, CAAM’s subsidiary dedicated to Socially Responsible Investment (SRI).
From 1981 to 1994, Michèle Jardin held a number of positions at Crédit Lyonnais in the asset management sector, as financial analyst, US and international equities manager, and head of international equities. She worked for CLSE in London from 1995 to 1999 as head of the research department. She started her financial analyst career in 1979 at BNP.
Michèle Jardin is a graduate of the HEC School in Paris and chairs the Banking, Finance and Markets Group of the HEC Association.
