Michael V. Galante is a Canadian citizen and is a forester byprofession. He has been working in Malaysia for the past 7 years andholds a Masters degree in Tropical Forest Resource Management from theUniversity Putra Malaysia (2002). Michael specializes in SustainableForest Management (SFM), Reduced Impact Logging (RIL) and CarbonSequestration through forestry activities. He is currently researchingthe emerging field of Ecosystem Service Markets and how these emergingincentive systems aid in the financing of reforesting our naturalresource base.
