Michael Feldner
Director ofSocially Responsible Investing - InSpire

advisory company principally aimed at investing in sustainable Cleantech
ventures in Southern Africa and a member of the InSpire Group of
companies, based in Norway. He is currently also working on a broad
based empowerment project in the taxi industry and assisting a
trade-union owned Micro-finance institution with strategic planning and
fundraising.
Prior to his involvement with InSpire, Michael was responsible for the
management of non-mining related investments at Exportcapital, a South
African Venture Capital firm. At Exportcapital, he has initiated
investments to the total value of million and has held several board
positions. He has experience in building up companies and teams, as
achieved with E*Trade SA, where he acted as executive director. He
negotiated and oversaw the introduction of this US-based online
brokerage to South Africa and gained experience in the capital market
regulatory environment as well as portfolio management. He has worked as
a corporate advisor for ten years for among others Deloitte consulting
and the IBM consulting group, where he headed up numerous projects in
transport, ICT, manufacturing, banking, tourism and FMCG.
Michael has specific expertise in strategic, marketing and financial
planning, company listings and capital market fundraising.
