John Goldstein is a General Partner of Medley Partners. Prior toforming Medley Partners, he served as Senior Managing Director ofMedley Global Advisors, the leading policy intelligence firm for theworld's largest financial institutions. Mr. Goldstein shepherded MGAthrough its development into a global firm with 60+ individuals and itssale to private equity investors in 2005. During this time, Mr.Goldstein was also co-founder and Executive Director of the MedleyInstitute, an organization focused on assisting high impact, highpotential groups leveraging market mechanisms for sustainabledevelopment. In that capacity, he worked with a variety of developmentactors globally and worked closely as a board member, senior advisororteam member with a range of institutions including, among others,Global Giving, the International Interfaith Investment Group (3iG),Keystone/Access, Social Fusion, the Sustainable Food Lab,Synergos/Generon/Monitor'sSocial Capital Market Accelerator, the GlobalExchange for Social Investment (GEXSI) and the United Nations CapitalDevelopment Fund. Prior to that, Mr. Goldstein was a managementconsultant in the Strategy practice of Andersen Consulting (nowAccenture), working with senior executives around the world in a numberof industries on issues such as brand strategy, "buyer values" marketresearch, global M&A, scenario planning, and new productdevelopment. Mr. Goldstein was an honors graduate of Yale Universitywhere he was awarded the Richter Fellowship and the Townsend Prize.
