Jeff Cantin

Jeff Cantin is an economist and environmental consultant with 17 years experience analyzing regulatory issues and designing and marketing voluntary partnership programs in the environmental area. He currently serves as an advisor to the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency's ENERGY STAR program, helping demonstrate to the business and finance sector the value of industry participation in voluntary energy efficiency efforts. In addition to its well-know product labeling program, ENERGY STAR offers technical resources to companies in the area of energy performance benchmarking, and provides public recognition for achievements in energy management. The focus of his talk will be on how investors can use participation in the ENERGY STAR program to track management engagement on the emerging issue of energy efficiency and climate change.
