Jean Pierre Sweerts
Head Sustainable Developments - Rabobank Nederland Duurzame Ontwikkelingen
Jean-Pierre Sweerts (42), Head Sustainable Developments. Mr. Sweerts joined Rabobank in 1998 and is responsible for sustainable development of the Rabobank Group.
Prior to joining Rabobank Mr. Sweerts had marketing and management functions at Delft Hydraulics, where he started in 1990 as an environmental consultant. At Delft Hydraulics he was also active as projectmanager of environmental management and organisational advice projects world wide.
He enjoys to deliver services and worked in partnership with a large variety of organisations; these include companies, authorities, NGO\'s, research institutes and international financing institutions.
He is member of the board of several organisations, such as the Netherlands Water Partnership (treasurer), the Society for Protection of the North Sea (treasurer), and the Ecological Management Foundation.
Mr. Sweerts has an IEP from Insead, France. He is Qualified as PhD in Biology (Aquatic Ecology) and studied Biology at the University of Amsterdam and the Freshwater Institute in Canada.
