-  Over 20 years of banking experience encompassing leveraged finance, mergers and acquisitions and structured finance

-  Joined WestLB in 1994 and worked on structured financings with concentration primarily on the energy sector, including oil and gas and power

-  Significant experience in working with multi-/bi-lateral institutions on project financings worldwide

-  Involved in WestLB´s efforts together with other leading international banks to develop and implement the Equator Principles in project finance

-  Since 1. April 2004 establishing a new, centralised department, Sustainability Management, to coordinate and manage activities relating to the environmental and social aspects of WestLB´s businesses
