Els Boerhof is the Manager of FMO's Micro and Small Enterprise Fund(MASSIF). Before joining FMO in 2002, she worked 6 years forMeesPierson in Amsterdam, Rotterdam and Johannesburg in Trade &Commodity Finance (the Americas) and Correspondent Banking (Africa& The Middle East). She graduated from Tilburg University in 1995with a thesis on "The monitoring and evaluation of credit for the ruralpoor". She concluded the research for this during a 10 month stay inThe Philippines, working for the Visayas Co-operative DevelopmentOrganisation (VICTO).
