Eckhard Plinke
Head Sustainability Research - Bank Sarasin & Cie AG
Dr. Eckhard Plinke, 1959, Head of Sustainability Research, sustainability analyst with Bank Sarasin since 1999. Lead analyst for the machinery and electrical engineering/electronics industries. Eckhard holds an MSc in business engineering and a PhD in economics, where his thesis had an environmental theme. Before joining the Sarasin research team he gained experience as a research assistant at the University of Karlsruhe in energy planning and air pollution control. This was followed by a seven-year post as senior consultant with the environmental department of the Swiss consulting company Prognos, where he carried out environmental consulting projects for public and private clients.
