Diana Propper de Callejon has been working in private equity and sustainability for more than ten years. Most of her work has focused on identifying investment opportunities that deliver financial returns and environmental benefits. She has written and spoken extensively on finance and sustainability.

Diana is a General Partner at Expansion Capital Partners, a venture capital firm that invests in expansion stage, Clean Technology enterprises in energy, transportation, water, advanced materials, and manufacturing and industrial processes. Clean Technology companies create more economic value with less energy, water or other inputs, and generate less waste or toxicity.

Prior to Expansion Capital, Diana was a co-founder and Managing Director of EA Capital, where she worked with Fortune 500 companies, financial institutions, and private equity investors and foundations to identify new business and investment opportunities related to resource efficiency and productivity. Clients included the International Finance Corporation (the design a venture capital fund that invests in sustainable forestry and agriculture in Latin America), Ted Turner (financial advisor on a venture capital investment in an alternative energy company), Duke Energy (the development of the company'ss climate change strategy), PacifiCorp (the identification of green power assets for the company to acquire) and the MacArthur Foundation (the design and launch of the Certified Forest Products Council).

Diana has been a frequent conference speaker and has written on the venture capital opportunities in Clean Technology and the environment for such publications as Morgan Stanley'ss Investor Outlook and Sustainable Business Investor.

Diana also has a background in sustainable development in emerging markets, having worked for five years in Africa and South America with Save the Children and with CS Enterprises. Diana has also worked at McKinsey & Co. She has an MBA from Harvard Business School and a BA from Duke University.
