Daniele is currently running his own consulting service with CO2nnect,developing projects related to the carbon market, energy efficiency andrenewable energy. He is also Capacity Building Coordinator forSouthSouthNorth, an NGO that builds capacity on CDM and voluntarycarbon market project as well as adaptation projects to climate change.
In the past he has been a renewbale energy specialist at AmbienteItalia, a Milan based consultancy (Italy). Previosuly Daniele wasstrategic partnerships and external relations manager at 'Azzero CO2'in Milan and advisor to Green Power International, a renewable energybusiness information provider.
In the past, Daniele worked with the New York office of ARUP onsustainable architecture and Corporate Social Responsibility, with theUS Nuclear Regulatory Commission on radioactive waste management atColumbia University in New York, and with the Swedish InternationalDevelopment Authority on groundwater contamination in Nicaragua.
Daniele holds a BS in Environmental Engineering at Politecnico diTorino, Turin, Italy, and a MSc and a PhD in Earth and Water Resourcesat the Royal Institute of Technology, Stockholm, Sweden. Daniele hastought at Columbia University, New York and University of Pennsylvania,Philadelphia. Daniele is also fellow to the Kinship ConservationInstitute, Political Economy Research Centre at Montana StateUniversity.
