Mr. Bendito is Business Development Manager of Triodos Bank inSpain.Among his duties he is the CEO of Analistas Internacionales enSostenibilidad (AiS), a newly establish SiRi Company partner firm basedin Spain. AiS is a joint initiative founded by the environmentalist NGOECODES and Triodos. Prior to joining Triodos, Mr. Bendito was ManagingDirector of Innovest also in Spain, where he successfully negotiatedand launched with BBVA the first Spanish SRI actively managed fund. Hismore than 15 years experience in corporate finance, companyrestructuring, and private sector development, allowed him to holdpositions internationally, among others: he was Country Manager forSpain, Portugal and Romania in the Council of Europe Development Bank,a Paris-based Multilateral Development Bank aimed at financing socialand environmental projects in Europe, where he managed an investmentproject porfolio of EUR 1.85 Billion; he was Associate Director of theProject Finance and Privatisation practice with PriceWaterhouseCoopersin Spain; the European Commission in Brussels as task manager in chargeof the Commission programme for private sector development; the UnitedNations Development Programme, where he was in charge of the privatesector programme for several Central and Eastern European Countries.His professional experience focused on providing advisory services togovernments, sell and buy side investors in the privatisation orrestructuring of public sector groups. Mr. Bendito holds a degree ineconomics from the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid with a majorin Development Economics, and a Diploma on International Trade from theMadrid Chamber of Industry and Commerce.
