Anton Van Elteren
Environmental Specialist - FMO
Netherlands
Netherlands Development Finance Company (FMO). As a member of the
Investment and Mission Review department, he is to ensure that FMO's
environmental and social standards are adhered to in all FMO's
financial products. His worldwide focus sectors are oil & gas and
infrastructure. Next that, he supports FMO's financial institution
clients in Asia with the development and implementation of environmental
and social management systems.
Being a biologist by origin, prior to joing FMO he has worked as an
environmental consultant for various Dutch consultancy firms, with
assignments both in the Netherlands and all over the world. His fields
of expertise include soil pollution, waste disposal, environmental
information systems and as 'core business', environmental impact
assessment.
Anton van Elteren is married and has two children.
