Co-head of pan-european research Goldman Sachs

Anthony joined the firm in 1999 as global coordinator for the Energy team. In 2000, he was was promoted to co-head of European Equity Research and now covers both roles. Anthony started his career in 1987 as an investment banker specializing in the oil sector. In 1990 he became an equity analyst covering exploration and production companies, graduating to the integrated European companies in 1994. Since 1995 he has consistently been ranked in the top three in all institutional surveys and in 1998, whilst at his previous firm, Schroders was ranked number one in the Institutional Investor poll. He has consistently been ranked in the top three in the Greenwich survey for the last three years. He received a BA in History from Oxford University in 1987.
