Born in 1945 in Switzerland. Medical doctor with his own surgery from 1975 to 2001. Helped Precious Woods to find shareholders since 1993. Elected to the Board of Directors and the Executive Committee in January 1997. Appointed as Chairman in June 1997. Currently responsible for the company'ss operations in Central America, for Investors Relations and for Public Relations.

Precious Woods was founded 1990 in Costa Rica, planting every year 400 ha of precious tree species. In 1996 Precious Woods Amazon became operative as the pioneer Company for sustainable forestry in the Brazilian Amazon. In 2001 Precious Woods Para?L was founded, in 2003 Precious Woods Nicaragua. Today Precious Woods has planted almost 5000 ha of tree plantations in Central America, owns more than 300's000 ha of forestland in Brazil and has 1700 employees.
