Adiba Ighodaro

fundraising activities relating to Africa.
Adiba joined CDC Capital Partners in 1991, prior to the creation of
Actis in 2004. Adiba re-established Actis' Nigeria office in late 2000
and, as Director of West Africa was responsible for managing Actis'
business activities in Nigeria and Ghana. She led to closure Actis'
US million investment in Lagos first modern shopping mall, a
transaction that won the Financial Times 2004 fDi award. Adiba also
originated Actis' US million investment in UAC Nigeria Plc. During
her time with Actis, Adiba has managed investments and exits in the
Caribbean and Southern Africa. Adiba is an Investment Committee member
of Capital Alliance Private Equity Limited, Nigeria, and a Director of
Persianas Limited. Prior to joining Actis, she practised commercial&
corporate law.
Adiba has an LLB from King's College London, a BL (Gray's Inn) and a C
Dip AF (ACCA).
