Adam Pool is the Chief Investment Officer of Environmental Investment Partners (EIP). EIP I has Euro 25 mm and invests in environmental infrastructure companies in central Europe. EIP I has made 8 investments and the Fund is now fully invested. EIP II is a new venture capital and mezzanine debt fund for companies involved with green energy (wind, biomass, geothermal, or energy efficiency) or biodiversity protection (eco-tourism, organic agriculture, and natural products). Prior to EIP he was the CIO of the Polish National Investment Fund 13. And prior to that Mr. Pool was a senior banker at the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development and a corporate finance associate at Salomon Brothers in New York City.
