Participants will gain practical skills for effective communication with stakeholders with a particular interest in governance, environmnental and social issues. This workshop will examine the importance of understanding the perspectives of external "watchdogs". Managing hostile critics; building productive relationships; establishing valuable partnerships; listening to your adversaries; identifying potential allies and marginalizing "extremists" are some of the topics that will be covered.
